DESCRIPTION

A Celebes macaque sits peacefully in the shadows of the rainforest. Seeing them in the wild was a truly humbling experience, especially since humans are responsible for their biggest challenges. They are critically endangered due to illegal logging, a cruel pet trade and the demand for bush meat. By photographing this majestic animal I wanted to capture what would be lost if we don’t protect them.
